The trails are rated as moderately difficult because of the terrain, which is rocky and uneven in spots.  There are no steep inclines and several miles of marked paths.

Three Falls Woods 78 acres consisting of karst landscape, diverse woodland, and waterfalls.

PARKING

Off street parking is available on Sweet Road in our parking lot.  Enter at The Central New York Land Trust sign.

Getting Here

Three Falls Woods is just off Route 173 between the Jamesville Rock Quarry and downtown Manlius.  Please see our map for directions from your location.   There is an off street parking lot on Sweet Road where you will find the trailhead directly behind the kiosk.

Preserve History

Three Falls Woods is a picturesque preserve filled with interesting geological features and three dramatic waterfalls.  It is part of the Onondaga Escarpment Nature Corridor, and boasts a rich and diverse habitat nestled right in Manlius, NY.  Please take a moment to read An Overview of Three Falls Woods for more information about this outstanding nature preserve.

Site Features

Three Falls Woods has a long trail system that traverses through the vast karst landscape, which is the predominant geological feature of this site.  A newly installed bridge overlooking the waterfalls allows visitors a beautiful view from the top of the falls.
