What We Do
Watershed Projects - We currently protect more than 3,400 acres in watersheds that provide major municipalities with clean drinking water. | Wetland Restoration Projects - We are reconnecting waterways and building functional aquatic animal passages to restore our wetlands and create healthier water systems. | Meadow Restoration Projects - We are converting several acres of post agricultural land to pollinator sanctuaries and ground nesting bird habitats by replanting with native wildflowers and grasses. |
---|---|---|
Pollinator Projects - We are building pollinator habitat structures to help foster a healthy population of native pollinators. | Improved Public Access - We are creating universal access trails for people with limited mobility and sight impairments. | Preserve Upgrades & Maintenance - Our staff and volunteers continuously maintain several miles of trails and more than 3,400 acres of land under our conservation. |
How You Can Help
The Central New York Land Trust relies on the generous support of our members and donors to provide the public with access to some of the most pristine natural sites in CNY, protect the water quality for our communities, and create wildlife sanctuaries for animal populations at risk. Please join us by becoming a member, donating or volunteering today.
