Our protection of undeveloped land in the Skaneateles Lake Watershed, 9-Mile Creek Watershed, and 8-Mile Creek Lake Ontario Basin using Water Quality Best Management Practices to reduce toxic algae blooms is a critical safeguard for the surrounding municipalities who rely on these natural resources for their drinking water.
Our recent acquisition of 200 acres in the Skaneateles watershed will provide sanctuary to fragile flora and fauna while ensuring the long-term health and stability of this drinking water source.
